Restorative & Esthetic Dentistry
Let natural tooth structure guide your choices—from esthetic assessment to ultraconservative and indirect restorations.
With Dr. Pascal Magne

Course information
Three sessions with Dr. Pascal Magne connect natural oral esthetics, conservative treatment choices and the transition between direct and indirect techniques.
Begin with the smile and its surrounding tissues. Then compare less invasive anterior options before exploring semi-direct and indirect approaches, including the role of CAD/CAM.
Access approximately 11 hours of recorded education in a downloadable bundle, alongside two bonus ebook volumes. Revisit the sessions and references at your own pace.
Who this course is for
Build a clearer connection between esthetic assessment, tissue preservation and technique selection.
Compare treatment options rather than starting with a preferred material or technique.
Examine tooth and gingival relationships within the wider smile and facial context.
Study how semi-direct approaches can bridge direct composite and indirect treatment.
The natural oral blueprint
Esthetic planning includes the tissues and relationships surrounding the restoration.
The first session connects individual tooth characteristics with gingival esthetics and the smile frame. Its checklist offers a way to organize these observations before treatment planning.
Observe the natural relationships before deciding what to restore.
What you’ll learn
Session 1 examines oral esthetics through a structured checklist, including teeth, gingiva and their integration within the smile.
Session 2 compares options such as chemical treatments, infiltration and freehand composites before considering more extensive restorations.
Session 3 explores CAD/CAM-supported alternatives and the relationship between a dentin base and an enamel layer.
Restorative choices
The final session introduces semi-direct and semi-indirect CAD/CAM approaches. It examines a layered restoration with a customized dentin base and enamel skin as another option within anterior restorative care.
